Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ResumeAIScore (the “Service”), operated as an indie product. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ResumeAIScore.

ResumeAIScore helps you compare a resume to a job description and generate fit scores, diagnostics, suggested edits, and related downloads (such as a diagnostic PDF or working-resume text). It is a decision-support tool for job seekers — not a hiring system, ATS, career coach, or employment agency.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, violate these Terms, or create risk for other users.

You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service (analysis, storage, display in your account, and related features). Do not upload content you are not allowed to share.

Fit scores, fixes, rewrites, and reports are generated with automated systems and heuristics. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you use it in a real application. ResumeAIScore does not guarantee interviews, offers, or hiring outcomes.

• No unlawful, deceptive, or harmful use
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or abuse of rate limits / free tiers
• No attempts to bypass paywalls, entitlements, or security controls
• No uploading malware or attempting to disrupt the Service

We may offer a limited number of free fit checks and paid or early-access plans. Pricing, limits, and features can change. Checkout may be manual (for example UPI / PayPal) before self-serve billing is available. Fees already paid for a stated period are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing.

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, pause, or end as the product evolves.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeAIScore and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service operator from claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
